Thresholds are designed to cover the expansion gap which needs to be left at doorways around the edge of wood flooring, and to create a seamless transition between floor coverings in adjacent rooms.
Our Wood to Carpet Oak thresholds are designed to accommodate the difference in thickness between our wood flooring options and a good quality carpet and underlay (hence the name) which typically have a combined thickness of around 10mm.
They are expertly machined for sustainable European Oak and supplied unfinished as standard. They can be ordered fully finished to tone with any of our oak floors, but this will need to be done through one of our showrooms.

Our Oak thresholds are expertly machined from sustainably sourced solid French oak.
They are available in 2 lengths and 2 thicknesses:
The 900mm threshold is designed for single doorways. The 1800mm threshold is designed for double doorways.
The 15mm option is designed to marry with our Quintessential Engineered planks & parquet. The 20mm option is designed to marry with our Solid & Strata Engineered planks and our Solid parquet.
Lead time – Unsealed thresholds are available from stock.
Delivery Options – via Parcelforce Courier as a stand alone item, or with larger items via our Premium Delivery Service or Commercial Carrier.
