Rich Textured Vintage Parquet is made from solid Cottage grade Oak and has softly worn edges, a gently distressed patina and a textured surface. Made from the finest European Oak it features warm natural colour variation and some knots. It is beautifully machined, perfectly proportioned and available in 2 classic sizes that can be used to create herringbone and many other traditional parquet designs.
Rich Textured Vintage Parquet is fully sealed with our high performance, VOC free Hardwax oil to create a luxurious, hardwearing finish that is beautiful and practical.
With no need for sanding, Vintage Parquet floors are much easier and less expensive to fit than traditional parquet blocks, and can be easily cared for using our Wood Floor Cleaner and Wood Floor Wax.
Format: Solid Parquet Block Grade: Cottage Oak Sustainability: Oak sourced from responsibly managed, PEFC and FSC certified European Forests. Surface Texture: Yes Finish: Matt Sain VOC Free Hardwax Oil Underfloor Heating: Suitable for use over UFH in line with our installation guidelines.
Our Solid Oak Vintage Parquet flooring must be glue fixed to a dry, level, load bearing subfloor with Broadleaf Ultra Adhesive or equivalent. We recommend adding a wastage allowance of 10-15% to the floor area to allow for offcuts at the edges of the floor. For full fitting recommendations and guidance see our Installation Guide.
Our floors are finished with durable hardwax oil that is designed for modern living and needs only a little regular TLC to keep them looking good. Rich Textured Vintage Oak Parquet flooring should be washed using our Wood Floor Cleaner, diluted in water and applied with a mop. To maintain its sheen and help repair day to day wear and tear use our Wood Floor Wax. Click here for our aftercare guide.
