Merbau Vintage Oak Parquet Flooring

Merbau Vintage Parquet has softly worn edges, a gently distressed patina and a textured, slightly aged surface. It has a naturally darker grain and occasional golden mineral flecks.

The blocks are beautifully machined, perfectly proportioned and can be used to create herringbone and many other traditional parquet designs.

Merbau Vintage Parquet is fully sealed with our high performance, solvent free Hardwax Oil to create a luxurious, hard wearing finish that is easy to maintain.

With no need for sanding, Vintage Parquet floors are much easier and less expensive to fit than traditional parquet blocks, and can be easily cared for using our Wood Floor Cleaner and Wood Floor Wax.

Our Solid Vintage Parquet flooring must be glue fixed to a dry, level, load bearing subfloor with Broadleaf Ultra Adhesive or equivalent. We recommend adding a wastage allowance of 10-15% to the floor area to allow for offcuts at the edges of the floor.

Our floors are finished with durable hardwax oil that is designed for modern living and need only a little regular TLC to keep them looking good. Merbau Parquet flooring should be washed using our Wood Floor Cleaner, diluted in water and applied with a mop. To maintain its sheen and help repair day to day wear and tear use our Wood Floor Wax.
