This fabulous dark and dramatic wood floor is Raven Oak – a stunning, multifaceted shade of black with just enough texture to pick out it’s grain and make sure that the character and life of the timber isn’t masked by its inky tones.

It’s a floor as dark as the Raven who came rapping at the chamber door once upon a midnight dreary (we couldn’t resist an Edgar Allen Poe moment on Hallows Eve!), and we make it in elegant engineered parquet and chevron options as well as solid & engineered plank.

Up close and personal with a few of the Versailles Panels from our Restoration Collection, so you can really appreciate the beauty of their pattern, texture and luxurious colours. Ideal for a country or period house restoration, they are also a brilliant way to add a bit of timeless elegance or a touch of grandeur to a more modern interior.

We’re feeling the love for the rich warm tones of Terra Fired today, seeing autumn tones taking hold through the window.

This mahogany masterpiece is created using a natural smoking process, but it’s a far cry from a traditional ‘smoked oak’ floor. Enhanced with organic colours, it has a gorgeous depth and is the perfect platform for luxurious modern classic interiors.

Creating a space that’s functional yet elegant can be quite the conundrum, but this is achieved masterfully here using our Rich Oak Textured Vintage Parquet.

The beautiful herringbone design and warm tones of the wood create a beautiful feature and a touch of luxury to an otherwise relatively functional space, whilst the forgiving colour, added texture and durable hardwax oil finish of the blocks make sure this floor is practical and easy to care for.

It’s the perfect flooring for busy family life, and it’ll even stand up to muddy paws and mucky boots!

In the world of wood flooring, ‘grade’ is used to define the extent of natural variation, which is key to how the floor will look once it’s laid. Floors with more natural variation will have larger knots and a more rustic style, whilst those with less will have a more uniform tone, smaller knots and a more elegant feel.

There are no standard grades, so each manufacturer defines their own. Many have only two, but we have 4 so we can create floors with a more clearly defined style from truly rustic to terribly elegant.

All of our floors are designed on a specific grades, but if you’d prefer them on a different one we can usually oblige since we make them to order at our UK factory. Just speak to a member of our team to find out more.

We’re just back from a lovely walk spent swooshing through fallen leaves and delighting in the wonderful colours to Autumn.

These inviting tones aren’t just a a joy outside, they also create a sense of well being and warmth inside.
