Introducing Magnetree

Magnetree is a new generation magnetic installation system for Broadleaf wood flooring that solves many of the teething problems associated with magnetic wood flooring. Combining high strength magnets with cutting edge anti tracking technology and pre-machined access kits, it is adhesive free, easy to fit, and the ideal way to fit wood flooring onto metal raised access flooring systems. It can be removed without risk of damage and will gain credits for BREEAM, SKA or LEED.

Much more than simply magnetic wood flooring, the Magnetree System is a complete installation system designed to meet the needs of contractors and ensure the performance of the flooring over time. It also protects valuable assets and prioritises circular, sustainable construction.

THE MAGNETREE SYSTEM

The Magnetree system comprises 4 elements – Magnetree, Magnetree Plus, Magnetree Track-Loc and Magnetree Access.

Magnetree is a high-strength PVC free magnetic layer, applied to the reverse of our flooring during manufacture, that provides powerful magnetic grip magnetically receptive metal subfloors.

Magnetree Plus works in the same way, but is enhanced with Trac-Lock technology. This provides additional horizontal stability during installation and resists tracking of the flooring over time. It is laid evenly across the floor in combination with Magnetree at a 10% ratio.

Magnetree Track-Lock provides additional horizontal stability adjacent to the expansion gap and preserve this after fitting without the need to block or fill it. It is a clear film supplied on a roll that is easily applied to and removed from the subfloor.

Magnetree Access is a simple kit containing planks or parquet with an adjusted profile so they can be easily lifted & relaid post installation to provide access to the subfloor. They also have a durable UV stamp under their finish so that they can be easily identified with a UV torch.
